By accessing or using ReadAndGone ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, whether as free users or Premium subscribers.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically for updates.

2. Description of Service

ReadAndGone is an anonymous messaging platform that allows users to:

• Leave anonymous messages for strangers to discover
• Read anonymous messages left by other users
• Subscribe to Premium membership for enhanced features

Free messages are automatically and permanently deleted after being read once. Premium messages remain in rotation until the user chooses to delete them. We do not guarantee message delivery, availability, or retention beyond these stated behaviors.

3. User Responsibilities

By using ReadAndGone, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Not use the Service to harm minors in any way
• Not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Not interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Not use automated means to access or interact with the Service without permission

4. Content Guidelines

While ReadAndGone supports free expression, certain types of content are prohibited:

• Illegal content of any kind
• Content that exploits or endangers minors
• Threats of violence or harm
• Harassment or targeted abuse
• Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Personal information about others without consent (doxxing)
• Spam or commercial solicitation
• Malware, phishing links, or other harmful technical content

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to terminate access for users who repeatedly violate these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are owned by ReadAndGone and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

By submitting content to ReadAndGone, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content through the Service. You retain ownership of your content but acknowledge that anonymous messages cannot be attributed to you.

6. Premium Membership

Premium membership is available through paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable subscription fees
• Provide accurate billing information
• Accept automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date

Subscription fees are processed through Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms of service. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

ReadAndGone is not responsible for the content of user messages. All messages are user-generated, and we do not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for any content posted by users.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadAndGone and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access to your data
• Any third-party conduct on the Service

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReadAndGone, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
